In the Zmelik lawsuit, Neways filed a surprise interrogatory, consisting of the damning spreadsheets that Charis Mower allegedly stole, which allegedly showed the flow of money between Neways Czech Republic and Tom Mower and, ostensibly, the Russian mob. The interrogatory required Zmelick to identify the owners of the various bank accounts, which, if the foregoing is correct, would have required him to identify figures in the Russian mob. Zmelick immediately stopped communicating with his attorneys and didn’t answer the interrogatory.
